Terms & Conditions

By placing an order the customer is agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
  1. Orders are for a minimum of 10 guests.
  2. Payment must be made for a minimum of 10 guests at point of order, unless agreed otherwise by Party On A Plate.  The order will be processed only once payment has been received.
  3. Prices are based on Party On A Plate providing up to one proposal revision prior to a booking deposit being received.  A discretionary upfront planning fee of £20 may be applied in the event of further revisions being requested ahead of an order being placed. Further changes can always be made once the deposit is paid and booking confirmed in accordance with the deadlines stated in these Terms and Conditions.  
  4. In circumstances where the party organiser is unsure of guest numbers it is possible to purchase additional invites, at a cost of £2 each, as long as an order for a minimum of 10 guests is paid in full at the same time.
  5. Discount offers are at the discretion of Party On A Plate and Party On A Plate retains the discretion to withdraw such offers at any time.  Military Discount is offered to current serving members of the regular and reserve UK Armed Forces, this offer does not extend to cadet forces.  A valid MOD90 must be produced.  Discount is applied to the basic package price which is for 10 party guests and is discounted from the booking invoice.
  6. Delivery charges will only apply for addresses more than 20 miles from the SP1 postcode at a rate of 50p per mile each way.
  7. Refunds will be made in the following circumstances where a party is cancelled by the customer: (1) a minimum of 14 days notice a 50% refund will be applied (2) a minimum of 7 days notice a 25% refund will be applied (3) less than 7 days notice will forfeit any right to refund.  Full refunds will only apply if there is a minimum of 28 days notice and invites have not yet been prepared or dispatched.  Statutory rights are not effected.
  8. Party On A Plate undertakes to deliver every order. If in the highly unlikely event that exceptional and unforeseen circumstances forces Party On A Plate to be responsible for cancelling an order then a full refund will be made.  Where Party On A Plate is still able to part fulfil an order, this option will be offered to the customer along with confirmation of revised costs.
  9. Final guest numbers must be confirmed and any additional payment settled a minimum of 10 days prior to the party. 
  10. Whilst Party On A Plate will always endeavour to hold some additional stock if the final numbers are significantly different to the original booking then Party On A Plate reserves the right to vary the contents of the products provided, eg party bags.
  11. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Party On A Plate of any allergies, dietary requirements, special needs, or any other information that may be relevant to the suitability of the order. This information should be provided as soon as possible with a minimum of 10 days notice. This may alter the final invoice depending on the requirements. Party On A Plate will not be held responsible for any circumstances that arise as a result of the customer failing to inform Party On A Plate of any relevant information. 
  12. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that Party On A Plate is provided with the correct delivery address and contact information, including the names of anyone authorised to take receipt of the delivery. 
  13. Party On A Plate will not be responsible for the late or failed delivery of an order due to incorrect information being provided by the customer. In such an event there will be no right to refund. 
  14. It is the customer’s or their nominated representative’s responsibility to be present at the arranged time and location for the delivery. If not, Party On A Plate will attempt to contact them using the contact number provided. Whilst Party On A Plate will make every effort to successfully deliver the order it cannot guarantee this in such circumstances. Additional charges may apply and will need to be settled in full before the order is handed over.
  15. Party On A Plate is responsible for the quality and storage of the order until the point of delivery to the customer. Once the customer takes delivery of the order then they are responsible for it, including the safe and appropriate storage of food.
  16. In the event of issues being identified after delivery then refunds or compensation will only be given where there is sufficient evidence that the damage took place whilst still in the possession of Party On A Plate.
  17. Data Protection: Party On A Plate will not share or disclose customer information to any third party. Party On A Plate will only use testimonials, images and other material with the express permission of the customer.
  18. It is Party On A Plate’s aim to ensure that every customer is completely satisfied with their order. Customers are advised to check their orders at point of delivery to ensure that they are satisfied and to enable any issues to be fairly dealt with. In the event of an error in the order, for example a missing item, Party On The Plate will take responsibility for resolving this in the most appropriate manner.
